is a grassroots, community based organization whose focus has always been on serving the needs of our community with limited resources and the generosity of in-kind donations. Our organization supports the communities by connecting families to a variety of high quality youth and family development programs such as:

  • Youth Talent Services
  • Literacy Programs
  • Family Supports

Our Mission

PCPYE's mission is to bring the youth in the City of Wilmington together to inspire, educate, and empower them with character building, mentorship, youth development activities, innovative thinking, and entrepreneurship programs. Port City Period Youth Empowerment Inc. has been operating in the Creekwood South Community since 2019.

Our Vision

Our vision is to promote social cohesion by developing sustainable programs that promote self sufficiency, resiliency, and social development within the inner city communities experiencing high levels of violence and poverty. We collaborate with local schools, businesses and other non-profits in New Hanover County to achieve our goal.
